Rising tides 

The floods have been severe this year and our base at Ekameta flooded. Israel, pictured here has been key in treating children with diarrhoea illnesses so common where the river has risen and is awash with sewage, food debris, and is taking many weeks to recede.



With all this has been a large surge in dysentry and food scarcity, creating real problems for the local population. We had to move our clinic to another building for the now, and during our recent trip the waters were actually receding, but left mud everywhere which made movement difficult for all.
